Well it depends how long you have been seeing each other, as he might feel 'at easy' around you, and may say things that he didn't really mean, but which you took to heart, you may have said things to him which he could have taken the wrong way, but he didn't. You may be want a Prince charming, but you'll be hard pressed to find one, try not being so sensitive around him, try and relax more and laugh at his comments.
