is your ex best friend your ex best friend because he said that to you? Look, he's an ***, and you should let him know that too, but don't let him ruin your friendship. You should go out with someone and rub it in his face. Make him jealous! Make him feel sorry for what he did!

be sure to tell your ex best friend that his thing is small.
Simply act like you dont care as much as it seems cool to break up with him in front of everyone it just shows he got over.and some guy you really like might not have the facts and not ask you out.you dont want to be the undatable girl.

i wouldnt break up with him in front of everyone... if i really cared for the guy, i wouldnt show the whole school the break up. sure he would hurt me by doing that.. but its not the best idea to do that, he might make up something in front of everyone, or have the same idea and do it to you.
Just end it and leave it at that. No need to cause a big deal over it. He will see that he is being a jerk and you just need to move on and find someone that wants you.

Oh, hell, go all out. Scream at him in the middle of the cafeteria about how he's such an asshole. If you can, embarrass the crap out of him. It'll make you feel better, and it will accomplish the goal.
Okay so he's an a** and it wasn't right of him to use you for your friend... but it's pretty elementry to think you're going to get back at him by breaking up with him infront of pple... it's childish..and will show him he hurt you.. which he obviously didn't care about doing. Just rebound quick.. it helps to get over it and show him you don't need him.
he's mean, and obviously he's expecting you to break up with him. i'd do just that. embarrass him
