My dad is telling me to brake-up with my boyfriend...?

HELP!! My dad told me to brake-up with my boyfriend, but i don't want to. I love him. I won't talk to my dad because of it. I don't really like my dad anyway... but what do i do??? Please help! My dad thinks i'm to young but my mom doesn't. How can parents control that part of your life?? I mean like this is why we don't tell them stuff... right??? He just needs to get OUT of MY FREAKING life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!My dad is telling me to brake-up with my boyfriend...?
I assume that you are a teenager. While I think that your dad should trust you a little more and let you experience life a little, he might be able to tell this guy is trouble (bad reputation?). Your dad might be right, only because the way you typed your question seems a little immature. However only you know if you are ready to have a boyfriend. You could have a boyfriend without it getting too serious. While your dad is only giving you this advice because he thinks it is what is best for you, you are your own person and it is up to you to make decisions regarding your love life. Try to talk to your mom to see what she thinks you should do, if she thinks you are ready for a boyfriend perhaps she can talk to your dad for you. Good luck!
He's your dad though. He'll be there after all the break-ups and heart aches. You can either sneak around, he'll find out eventually and you'll be in a lot of trouble. You can talk to him and reason with him. Tell him that you are level headed and mature enough to handle it. Tell him to even put you on a probation period with him. It might make him realize that you're old enough to have a boyfriend. Plus he'll respect you for being up front with him instead of sneaking around and being immature with him. Maybe your dad doesn't like him for certain reasons like he's not good in school or does drugs. If that's the case maybe you should think about not being with him anymore.
well he probably thinks your boyfriend is a horny little bastard and he is trying to protect you. Even though he makes you mad thats a father's way of saying he cares about you....you should probably sit down and talk with both your parents and tell both of them that it is your life..good luck
